Description
Pileus 33-52 mm, convex becoming plane with uplifted margin; bright orange becoming dull orange-brown (~6C8); possibly viscid when fresh (leaf material stuck to partially dry surface), densely matted subtomentose. Context white, unchanging. Taste and odor mild. Pores angular, 1-2 per mm, pale yellow, staining brown. Tubes concolorous, 3-5 mm long.
