Bolivia. La Paz. Inquisivi Prov. Along tributary in the headwater area of Río Ocsalla aprox. 1 km N of Estancia Jank'ho Khalani and 9 km N of Choquetanga.

Habitat
Along the creek which flows in a 0-5 m deep gulch. Banks are of metamorphic rock. The slopes are mostly grassland with some shrubs. Along the creek are forest edges of Weinmannia, Hesperomeles and Baccharis. On isolated metamorphic boulders in grasslands. Rare on boulder sides.

Description
The brigh [bright] red. Flagellate stems with golden leaves are distinctive.
