USA. ARIZONA. Coconino County. Just N of Rabbit Canyon; ca. 1.0 mi. S of Chapel Mountain and ca. 0.5 mi. NE of North Pasture Tank. Growing on a
flat, open slope on a limestone bench. Growing in
pockets of limestone-derived soil among a solid
limestone outcrop.

Associated species: Pinus edulis, Juniperus monosperma,
Gutierrezia sarothrae, Bouteloua gracilis, Chamaebattiaria
