Weedy, gravelly, unshaded area around commercial
buildings, with Monarda citriodora, Pyrrhopappus
multicaulis, Ratibida columnifera, Gaillardia pulchella,
Solanum elaeagnifolium.

Erect herbs to 90 cm. tall. Rays yellow with dark red-brown
at base.
