Dimeresia Howellii Gray

Rosette of leaves succulent, somewhat glandular and with a loose,
deciduous wool. Central heads each with two involucral bracts and
two white florets fading pink.

Steep, nearly barren talus of volcanic scree north of State Highway
28 and 6.7 miles east of Cedar Campground.

Altitude ca. 6100 feet.
