Sparsely vegetated, gravelly, tan soil. Full sun. Associated
species: Collomia parviflora, Bromus tectorum, Gilia sp.
Atriplex confertifolia, Phlox gracilis. Flowers white (pinkish
when young), stems and leaves succulent. Occasional.
