valley, ca. 1/2 mile west of State Route 50,
T14N, R67E, S34. ca. 5680 ft.

Infrequent taprooted perennial, corolla bright
yellow-orange, phyllaries ± uniseriate, cov-
bered with a mealy tomentum, usually growing
near Juniperus scopulorum, Grayia, on alkaline
soils.
