Description
Pileus 3-5.5 cm broad, plano-convex to plane, glutinous, radially corrugated, brownish orange on disc, dark brown toward margin. Flesh pale buff, unchanging with mild odor and taste. Lamellae adnexed, perhaps with pale lilac when young, soon clay color then rusty brown, with uneven, pale edges. Stipe 5-8 cm long, equal with a subulbous base, dry and whitish silky fibrillose above, yellowish orange and subviscid from veil remnants at base, with pithy to hollow interior. See also 9138, 9199.
