Red sand plain with a few sandstone outcrops. Trees become progressively fewer yielding to Acacia shrubs and other shrubby taxa. Common within Ewaninga.

Description
Shrubs 6-8 cm . Flowers with bluish petals. Petal base (bordering disc) producing dark-blue ring, scentless. Phenology of specimen: Flower.

The New York Botanical Garden BORAGINACEAE | i Halgania erecta Ewart & Rees AUSTRALIA, NORTHERN TERRITORY: Simpson Desert Red sand plain with a few sandstone outcrops. Trees become progressively fewer yielding to Acacia shrubs and other shrubby taxa. Shrubs 6-8 cm of the Ewaninga Carving Preserve. Flowers with bluish petals.
