Asteraceae

Weedy, cattle-grazed sand prairie on gently undulating ground.
Scattered small swales, and large permanently inundated wetland
on E side. Sandy soil.

Locally abundant; dominant forb in swales. Rays lemon yellow with
a deep red basal spot; disk red distally, yellow proximally.
