COLORADO: Boulder County. Along US 36, ~ 5 mi S of Lyons.
40° 11.57 N; 105° 15.04 W; alt-5411 ft.

One plant, almost 1 m tall. Disk flowers golden yellow in upper
portions, deep maroon at basal portions. Disk flowers maroon.
Heads mostly past anthesis. Silica gel dried leaves preserved at
the DNA Bank, Missouri Botanical Garden. .
