COLORADO CO.: locally common in sandy loam
over Willis Formation (Pleistocene), on occasion-
ally mown grassy roadside through upland post oak
savanna, both sides of F. M. 109, 1.5 roadmiles W
of jet. F. M. 1094 in New Ulm, 100 ft. SW of
Austin Co. line. Industry Quadrangle. 29°52'56"N,
96°30'17"W.

Population continues southwestward discontinuously (toward
Frelsburg) for 2.0 miles. Absent from adjacent heavily grazed
pastures but common in some brushy post oak woodlands that
are either not or perhaps are only lightly grazed.
