Small. 02056001 Section Calliopsis of Coreopsis (Compositae) Coreopsis leavenworthii T. & G. Det. by H. M. Parker feb 197JL Collectors J. J. Carter. Nov. 9th to 12th. 1903- I am inclined to refer the inclosed» I'ios. 613*715,1219,1830,1867, 1897,1754 & my Nos. X & XX, to Coreopsis Leavenworthii T. & G. They are peculiar in that most of the leaves are very'narrow and simple. In typical specimens the leaf-blades are more or less lobed or divided. Dr. Greene’s C. angustata is nothing more or less than straight C. Xj6avenwot*thiij to me. He describes his plant as having leaves with one or two pairs of leaflets. F. E.
