I am inclined to refer the inclosed. Nos. 613,715,1219,1830.,1867,
1897,1754 & my Nos. X A XX, to Coreopsis Leavenworthll T. & 0. They are
peculiar in that most of the leaves are very narrow and simple. In
typical specimens the leaf-blades are more or less lobed or divided.

Dr. Greene*s C. angtistata is nothing more or less than straight
Leavenworthii, to me. He describes his plant as having leaves with one
or two pairs of,leaflets.
