W in £ 5 X o H CQ I am inclined to refer the inclosed, Nos. 613,715,1219,1830,1867, 1897,1754 & my Nos. X & XX, to Coreopsis Leavenworthii T. & G. They are peculiar in that most of the leaves are very na_rrow and simple. In typical specimens the leaf-blades are more or less lobed or divided. Dr. Greene’s 0. angustata is nothing more or less than straight C. Leavenworthii, to me. He describes his plant as having leaves with one or two pairs of leaflets. F. E.
