Habitat
North aspect, slope ca. 5-7%. Exposed, windswept, rocky subalpine ridge. Found with Poa bulbosa, Erigeron sp.?, Balsamorhiza hookeri, Astragalus sp?, Castilleja sp?, Poa secunda, Arenaria sp?, Artemisia tridentata var. vaseyana. Common for site. Thin rocky, well drained soil derived from quartzite.
