Habitat
Heavily disturbed premontane forest. Common, but little in flower.

Description
Terrestrial and epiphytic, 3 m. Floral bracts dark scarlet. Rachis and bracteoles pink. Calyx green, the lobes suffused with pink or becoming totally pink, the glands green, viscid. Corolla pearl white, nitid, the lobe margins purple. (Photo; pickled). Phenology of specimen: Flower.
