Avenue and Parkland College. Rising 7.5 min.
quadrangle. Disturbed loess and black alkaline clay on
steep slope; the loess source unknown - not from the
area.

With Ambrosia psilostachya, Cirsium arvense,
Bouteloua curtipendula, Solidago canadensis,
Schizachyrium scoparium. Locally common
biennial-perennial herb, flowers pinkish-purple
foliage grey-green; most in fruit.
