Habitat
Covering large areas, especially at edges of and into the Preserve. Also found sporadically further into the Preserve.

Description
Lax herb, weakly rooted, much branched. The upper inflorescence often erect the lower one horizontally oriented (i.e., at right angle to the upper one). Awns consipicuous. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
