Bank by roadside, mixed forest, sandy soil. Stems
branched in the upper third, to 1 meter tall.
Flowers lavender. In flower to past mature fruit.
Perennial or biennial? Bracteate leaves under
heads ca. 5. Scarce here but more abundant farther
west. Possibly introduced? Vouchers for seed
collection.
