Growing near a ditch or vernal rain water stream. To about 1.5 m tall. Flowers blue or white. At the edge of an Oak-Hickoiy Mesic Woodland with Impatiens capensis, Rubus phoenicolasius, Rosa multiflora, Alliaria petiolata, Aralia elata, Prunus, and Artemisia vulgaris. Matthew C.
