DEEP SPRINGS RABBITBRUSH. Shrubs to 6 dm high with
viscid herbage.

At base of low hills 0.3 mile S 80° E of Deep Springs
College, Inyo Mtns. divide, T7S R36E SI. Bouldery gran-
ite colluvium sloping 10° E, mixed desert scrub with
Artemisia, Purshia, Brickellia, Gutierrezia and Symphor-
icarpos. Frequent locally in rocky areas, not seen
elsewhere in the valley.
