DEEP SPRINGS RABBITBRUSH. Shrubs to 7 dm high, herbage
glutinous, viscid.

At base of low hills 0.2 mile S 5° E of Deep Springs
College, Inyo Mtns. divide, T7S R36E SI. Bouldery gran-
itic colluvium sloping 10° NW, mixed desert scrub with
Artemisia, Purshia, Brickellia, Gutierrezia, Symphori-

carpos. Frequent locally in rocky places; not seen
elsewhere in the valley.
