Bishop tuff rhyolite ridge dropping off steeply E into Taylor Cyn.
Soft pumice soil between outcrops. Open Pinus jeffryi woodland
with scattered P. monophylla, Artemisia tridentata, Purshia
tridentata, Cercocarpus ledifolius, Eriogonum umbellatum,
Chrysothamnus nauseosus, S. viscidiflorus.

Common in scrub. Rounded pis to .75m tall.
