miles north of Idaho/Nevada line; mountain big
sagebrush/festuca community on slope below rimrock;
rocky volcanic soil; southeast exposure, 6000 ft.;
rare with Artemisia tridentata ssp. vaseyana,
Artemisia cana, Agropyron spicatum and Festuca
idahoensis; plants 0.5 m tall.
