High "mata de cipó" forest, with mixed deciduous and evergreen trees and dense understory on deep loamy soil.

Description
Shrub to 4 feet. Stems green with tawny hairs; leaves dull green above, grey-green beneath. Young fruit yellow-green. Sepals yellow-green. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
