On steep slope. With heavy undergrowth of Arctostaphylos sp.

Description
Tree. A young, upright tree with short horizontal branches; cones in clusters at ends of leading shoots. Other two stations of this species seen on top of adjacent peaks only through binoculars; other two staions on top of rock outcrops totally inaccessible by walking; other trees reported near the junction of Jamison Road (by Brett Halling, Univ. California-Santa Cruz Arboretum). Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
