Tree to 7 m x 20 cm; bark grey,
± smooth, outer slash orangish brown,
inner slash creamish with no exudate,
heart-wood chocolate-brown; branching
open, branches contorted; leaflets
mid-green, somewhat discolourous, paler
below, leaflets held upwards at 20°-40°
at 9.30 am. Erect panicles held away
from and above foliage, few fruits per
panicle. Flowers yellow, standard
net-veined orange; anthers ochre.
Centris sp., Xvlocopa sp. and humming
bird visiting. Centris connects with
anthers.
