% mi. W. of Little Mountain ski area, along Rt. 65, at hairpin
curve. TIN, R2E, Sec 33, SE%. Elev. 6100 ft. Above drainage
ditch along road on S-facing slope in partial shade of Prunus
virginiana, with Rosa woodsii, Melilotus officinalis. Plants
in many-stemmed clump; stems to 4 ft tall. Root crown with
long fibers remaining from old leaf bases.
