Ecuador. Loja. Sozoranga-Cariamanga road, 8.3 km E of Sozoranga and 7.4 km W of Utuana.

Habitat

Steep slopes of forest - southern ecuadorean scrub ecotone; area bathed by upwelling clouds, otherwise "dry".

Description

Terrestrial shrub ca. 1 m tall. Leaves very succulent. Calyx pale green. None in flower. [DNA; pickled].
