Habitat
Treeland and grassland habitats at treeline. Extensive bogs present, boulders are mostly granitical. .Grassy bog with numerous shallow water flushes chokad with Juncus. . Woodlands consist of Hersperomeles, Miconia, Barnadesia, Baccharis, etc. and mosses in extensive sheets bare cliffs. At edge of hard turf where it meets Scopidium turgescens choked flush. .
