KECK PLANTS OF CALIFORNIA distributed by the HERBARIUM OF THE UNIVERSITY OP CALIFORNIA, BERKELEY. 276. Hemizonia Douglaaii Gray, in part. Syn. Calycadeniajvillosa DC. Two km. east of Jolon, in the South Coast Ranges of southern Monterey County, in the Upper Sonoran Zone. Growing in hard gravelly and stony soil on exposed rolling summits, associated chiefly with grasses which are now dried up especially Bromus hordeaceus. ’ Ligules dull white, occasionally with a flush of pink. Ray-flowers 2 to 4. Bracts of the receptacle 6 to 8. Disk- flowers 6 to 14. Collected by H. M. Hall (no. 10018), June 11, 1915. NEW YORK BOTANICAL GARDEN 02030621 02030621
