On west side and near entrance of Ruin Canyon, in Beef Basin, northeast of Dark Canyon, in vicinity of 37d 56' N lat, 109d 52' 45" W long, 1890 meters. At base of cliff dwelling above cabin, against cliff, with Pinus edulis, Artemesia tridentata, Rosa woodsii, Chrysothamnus, Berberis fremontii, Echinocereus triglochidiatus, Opuntia spp, Sclerocactus parviflorus, Rhus trilobata, Amelanchier, Fraxinus anomalus, Juniperus, Chrysopsis villosa, Gilia roseata, Cirsiumcf. calcareum.
