Escapul Wash, approx 1/2 mile south of Charleston Road, just east of intersection of Escapul Rd and Escapul Wash N 31° 36.305', W 110° 10.259'; 4111 ft. (1253 m) Habitat: Wash, riparian, sandy alluvium. Associated spp: Prosopis velutina, Sorghum halepense, Chilopsis liniaris, Ericameria nauseosa, Sporobolus contractus, S. airoides, Rhus microphylla, Xanthium strumarium, Cynodon dactylon, Muhlenbergia rigens, Bothriochloa laguroides spp. torreyana. Notes: Abundant suffrutescent herb to 1.5 m. Fragrant, glandular, flowers greenish. Voucher for botanical inventory of San Pedro Riparian National Conservation Area.
