purplish pink or burgandy pink upon ageing, capillary
bristles purple, bracts striate white & green except outer-
most ones, plants in upland woods, rare at one site with
about 6 seen & locally common at another site with 50-100
seen; plants averaging ca. 2.5' tall with some reaching ca
5' tall, flowers mildly sweet fragrant-
