Bigelovia nudata (Michx.) DC.
ASTERACEAE

Herbs to 18in tall, locally common, flowers dark yellow. In a moist to
wet savanna on sandy, organic soil, burned the previous summer.

Growing with Aletris lutea, Andropogon brachystachyus, A.
capillipes, Aristida stricta, Ascyrum tetrapetalum, Aster dumosus,
Bumelia reclinata, Carph.eph.orus carnosus, Centella asiatica,
Chaptalia tomentosa, Coreopsis floridana, Ctenium aromaticum,
Drosera capillaris, Eragrostis sp., Erigeron vernus, Eriocaulon
de cangulare, Eryngium aquaticum, Eupatorium sp., Euthamia minor,
Hypericum fasicuiatum, Hypoxis juncea, Ilex glabra, Lachnocaulon
beyrichianum, Liatris garberi, Lobelia glandulosa, Muhlenbergia
capillaris, Myrica cerifera, Oxypolis filiformis, Pinus palustris,
Pityopsis gramininfolia, Polygala grandiflora, Quercus laurifolia,
Q. minima, Q. virginiana, Rhynchospora fasicularis, Sabal palmetto,
Schizachyrium scoparium, Scleria reticularis, Serenoa repens,
Solidago stricta , Spiranthes longilabris, Stillingia aquatica,
Syngonanthus flavidulus, Utricularia juncea, Utricularia subulata,
Viola lanceolata, and Xyris platylepis. About O.lmi W. of the East
Fence road, and about O.lmi S. of the intersection with another road, at
the NE side of Avon Park Air Force Bombing Range, Polk Co.
