Wooton. An annual plant 1 to 2 feet high, found upen
sandy soil in Southern New Mexico, where it receives very
little water during its growing season* Tho flowern are
very handsome, espeoially upon the young plants; as tho
plants grow older thoy becono more straggling and the
flowers are somewhat smaller* It could probably be read-
ily grown from seed and is well worthy of cultivation*
