Habitat: Riparian, adjacent to active channel.

Associated spp: Populus fremontii, Salix gooddingii, Sorghum
halepense, Ambrosia psilostachya, Baccharis salicifolia, B. emoryi.
Notes: shrub 2.5 m, leaves sticky, abundant along river active channell
