    Flat, dry chaco vegetation with cacti, Ruprechtia triflora, Sideroxylon obtusifolium.

  • Description

    Terrestrial; stem 2 m. long, the first meter prosostrate, the rest erect, the adventitious roots like stilts, sometimes also climbing into small trees. Stem 5 cm. in diameter; petiole scars nearly contiguous. Crushed leaf with odoer of celery. ne erect green spathe per axil. Phenology of specimen: Sterile, Sterile.
