Unable to find the precise location of the offset because offset described in time (hours) rather than distance; georeferenced to the geographic center of the beginning of the access road which leads from the river (Rio Uraricoera) to the ecological station. Referred to the ICMBio website for location information for Estação Ecológica de Maracá on Ilha de Maracá, Roraima (http://www.icmbio.gov.br/portal/biodiversidade/unidades-de-conservacao/biomas-brasileiros/amazonia/unidades-de-conservacao-amazonia/1918-esec-de-maraca.html). ICMBio provides a .kmz file of the extent of the ecological station that may be viewed on Google Earth. Using the reference .kmz file on Google Earth and visual evidence on Google Maps - Satellite View, located the start of the road which leads to the Estação Ecológica de Maracá. Used Canadensys Lat/Long Crosshairs to find the coordinates of the beginning of the road, along Rio Uraricoera. According to the ICMBio website, the total extent of the ecological station campus is Ilha Maracá in its entirety; used the Distance Measurement Tool (Google Maps) to find the linear extent by measuring from the selected coordinates to the farthest extent of Rio Uraricoera along the southern portion of Ilha Maracá. Input coordinates, linear extent (65106.5 m), and measurement error (0.5 m) into the MaNIS Georeferencing Calculator to find the uncertainty radius (according to Georeferencing Quick Reference Guide, Named Place: Defined Area).
