Crassulaceae Villadia guatemalensis Rose Contr. U.S. Natl. Herb. 12: 396.1909. From protologue: "Collected by William R. Maxon near Chaeus, between Salama and Las Canoas, Guatemala, January 22, 1905 (no. 3411) and flowered in Washington, January, 1906. Type: U.S. National Herbarium no. 473393." US 473393 (HOLOTYPE) is the W. R. Maxon & R. Hay 3411 specimen collected on 22 Jan 1905. This NY 277820 specimen, from a flowering plant on 21 Mar 1910, is clearly not the Type, but may be from the material grown from Maxon in Washington; the no. 05.245 on the herbarium seems to be a plant propagation number and not the original collection number of W. R. Maxon. verif. T. Zanoni, 2010 t -o 00 *2 o w O °= ^ X pL, 43 00277820
