intersection Escondido Canyon Road & Red Rover Mine
Road. Acton 7.5' USGS Quadrangle; T5N R13W, SW/4
NW/4 NW/4 section 26. Elevation ca 2900-2960 feet.

Small sandy wash draining SE-ward toward Acton;
gravelly metamorphics; low rolling hills with slopes dominated
by Artemisia tridentata parishii, Chrysothamnus nauseosus,
Atriplex canescens, Eriogonum fasciculatum,with scattered
Juniperus californica, Ephedra nevadensis, Haplopappus cf.
cooperi.

Locally common shrubs to ca 18 dm tall; growing on sandy
flats and low slopes adjacent to dry wash.
