FLORA OF IDAHO

Symphyotrichum jessicae (Piper) Nesom

Nez Perce County: About 2.5 miles southeast of
Gifford, on roadbank south of Settlement Road,
about 1 mile west of intersection with Brammer
Road. Elevation 3045 feet. Aspect north.

With Symphoricarpos albus, Lomatium dissectum
var. dissectum, Helianthella uniflora, Perideridia
gairdneri, Epilobium paniculatum, Phlox sp, and
Wyethia amplexicaulis. Also present are Bromus
inermis, Phleum pratense, Poa compressa, and
Hypericum perforatum. Rays lavender. About 600
stems in 100 m x 2 m patch.
