JUNEAU ICEFIELD: About 300 yards north of
cookhouse at Camp 17 (FGER) and below Vesper
Peak. Elevation about 4,350'. Mesic lichen/
moss rock (schist) outcrop on steep mid-slope
with south aspect. Common, with Gentiana
glauca, Salix stolonifera3 and Antennaria
pallida. Heads still early, corollas yellow-
red.
