JUNEAU ICEFIELD: Approximately 4 miles north-
west of Camp 26 (FGER) on Marble Mountain Nuna-
tak. Elevation approximately 5,400' on par-
tially stabilized scree material (relatively
dense vegetation cover). Soil shallow and
coarse. Pm of low grade metamorphics and
metasediments. On steep mid-slope with a
south-southeast aspect. Common, with Salix
glauoa3 Epilobium angustifolia, Lupinus
nootkatensis3 Solidcugo rrrultiradiata, and
Salix sp. Plants strongly rhiz. Flowers
yellow, red, and brown.
