W. Long. T. 24N, R. 10E NW1/4 SE1/4 NE1/4 SW1/4
SECT. 28 About 1 mile north of Oregon. Vicinity of the
bank/terrace of the Rock River along the west side of
Illinois Route 2, at an iron-gated stone entrance and
pull-off, 0.8 kilometer north of the southern (main)
entrance to the Stronghold and Blackhawk Presbytery
and camp. Elevation about 679-692 feet. Disturbed
roadside.

Mesic upland forest in transition to mesic floodplain
forest. Rays white, disk yellow, very local but common
linear colony at margin of pavement; annual herb.
