WESTERN MUGWORT. Erect perennial clumps to 3 dm across
with sweet spicy odor.

At the spring 1 mile south of the mouth of Piute Creek,
Owens Valley drainage, T5S R33E S23 NW*. Moist silty
alluvium along spring effluent with Rosa, Salix, Fce.vi.c-
ulum, Mentha, and Atriplex. Locally common in moist
places.
