of Hwy 93 ca. 60 mi N of Banff, NE-
facing slopes SE of Peyto Lake; Tp 32,
R18, in the central portion.

Subalpine spruce zone. Wind bald,
gently NW-sloping marble-like rock out-
crop, 60% rock and gravel; elev. 7400
ft.

With Poa rupicola, Dryas octopetala,
Potentilla spp.

Forming dens mats to 1 dm broad.
