Hall & Clements Asteraceae Det.: S.R.Hill, (ILLS) 2004 WILL COUNTY T. 36N, R. 10E, includes portions of El / 2 of NW1/4 of Sect. 34 and adjoining portion of Sect. 27 Lockport, east of Des Plaines River, west of Joliet I&M Canal Trail # 30, generally between the Chicago Sanitary and Ship Canal and the I&M Canal. Mostly the site of former smelter dump and quarries, not currently used. Along old access road at east side of open weedy field. Joliet 7.5 minute quadrangle (1993). Crushed dolomite; barrens dumping area on old refinery Area not natural, mostly site of former smelter and quarries, currently a dumping ground for old vehicles.
