Description
Pileus 1.5-3 cm broad, convex to plano-convex, dry, tomentose to subtomentose, dark brownish red. Flesh pale yellow, barely cyanescent if at all. Tubes adnexed, yellow, somewhat boletinoid, compound, cyanescent. Stipe 2-4 cm long, 4-5 mm broad, equal to slightly tapered toward base, curved, dry, fibrillose streaked, yellow at apex, dull reddish to brownish red below, pale ochraceous buff at base.
